The Krivini Ethnographic Complex is a replica of a commercial and craft street from the Bulgarian National Revival period, fitting perfectly into the natural setting of the area. The main purpose of the ethnographic tourist complex is to present and familiarize visitors with the traditional way of life and crafts of the regional folklore area during the Bulgarian National Revival.

Located within the complex are:

Within the complex there are also two lakes, located at the highest and lowest points of the terrain, used to power the water exhibits.

LANDMARKS IN THE AREA

• Orlov Kamak (waterfall) – The Orlov Kamak waterfall is located on the Armira River near the village of Goren Chiflik in the Varna region. It consists of two cascades, the upper one being 5-6 meters and the lower one about 3 meters.
• Chudnite Skali (The Wondrous Rocks) – Chudnite Skali is a rock phenomenon located on the shore of the Tsonevo Reservoir, 4 km from the village of Asparuhovo, Varna region. The natural phenomenon consists of a formation of about ten beautiful rocks, 40-50 meters high, resembling castle towers. A road tunnel has been dug through them. Chudnite Skali is a natural landmark.
• The „Hemus Gates“ Fortress Complex – The remains of the „Hemus Gates“ Fortress Complex (also known as „Germeto“) are located between the villages of Bulair (about 2 km to the west) and Golitsa (5.5 km to the east). The structure was a grandiose complex of three fortresses connected by walls, and served to defend the Byzantine Empire from the invasion of northern tribes. It is believed to have been built in the 3rd-4th century.
• The Church of „Holy Ascension of the Lord“ in the village of Pchelnik was built between 1923 and 1929 with funds and voluntary labor of the local residents. The Orthodox church is located in the center of the village and impressed at the time with its imposing size and architecture.
• The Dobrovan Mushrooms are a rock phenomenon in the Stara Planina mountains, 27 km northeast of the town of Aytos. The name comes from the now-nonexistent village of Dobrovan. They consist of three rock formations shaped like giant mushrooms, positioned about 10 meters apart. The most impressive is the middle mushroom, about 4 meters in height and diameter. For convenience, a ladder has been left so you can climb to the top of the „cap“ and enjoy the view from above. The other two rock formations are shorter.
• Boat trip on the Kamchia River – The „Nike“ boat trip on the Kamchia River is an attraction offering a ride through the beautiful nature of the Kamchia Reserve. The trip starts from the river pier, follows the current, and continues along its full length. The attraction lasts 30 minutes and operates year-round when weather conditions permit. A guided commentary is offered during the trip.
• Tsonevo Reservoir is located near the village of Tsonevo, in the Stara Planina mountains, in the Varna region. It is the third-largest reservoir in Bulgaria. It was put into operation in 1974, mainly for industrial water supply and irrigation. The reservoir is used for recreation, rest, and fishing. It is stocked with catfish, carp, silver carp, grass carp, perch, and others.
• Goritsa Zoo covers 4000 sq.m. and is located on the main Burgas – Varna road, near the village of Goritsa. The zoo has walking paths, wooden bridges, and viewing spots for observing the animals. Conditions have been created that are as close as possible to natural ones, in which numerous species of animals are kept – mammals, predators, and birds, including peacocks, golden pheasants, Mongolian pheasants, ostriches, kangaroos, llamas, mouflons, wild boars, fallow deer, horses, ponies, jackals, and others.
• Happy Land Amusement Park is located on the main Burgas-Varna road, about 25 km from Varna. This is a place where the whole family can have fun together. It features fixed attractions and many varied themed areas such as a dinosaur world, a lake with a waterfall, pirate island, fun houses, an ATV track, and a jungle, as well as a barbecue area for dining. The animators at the complex also contribute to the unique experience.
• The Longoza Protected Area is the former buffer zone around the Kamchia Reserve. The area is characterized by longoz (floodplain) forests. The total area is 230 hectares, of which 70 are forest land and preserved longoz forests, and 160 hectares are agricultural land. Tourist trips are allowed from the mouth of the Kamchia River to the boundaries of the reserve, but tourists must comply with certain requirements.
• The „Valchi Prohod“ (Wolf’s Pass) Reserve was declared in 1968. It consists of mixed beech-oak, beech-Hungarian oak, and Hungarian oak-hornbeam trees of natural origin in excellent condition. The reserve’s forests are entirely preserved from human impact. It is located north of the village of Golitsa. The reserve is inaccessible by car, so it is reached via a forest road.
• In the vicinity of the village of Krivini is the „burning water.“ The water is mixed with methane. Samples and studies have shown that it contains a large amount of iodine, which supports local legends about the healing properties of the water.
